Cars for Christmas is a lottery fundraiser operated by the Rotary Club of Grande Prairie Swan City, based in Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada. Proceeds support Rotary community projects and a number of nonprofit organizations across Alberta.
2. Program Description
By providing your mobile phone number, you agree to receive text messages from Cars for Christmas at the number provided, sent using an automated system. Messages may include ticket sale announcements, purchase deadlines, draw date reminders, winner announcements, and related promotional or informational updates about Cars for Christmas, the Christmas Cash 50/50, and the 12 Days of Christmas lottery.
Consent to receive these messages is not a condition of any purchase.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies. You may receive more messages as ticket sale deadlines and draw dates approach, and fewer messages outside of the active campaign season.
4. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply, based on your mobile carrier and plan. Cars for Christmas does not charge for text messages sent as part of this program.
5. How to Opt Out
You can cancel text messages at any time by texting “STOP.” After you send “STOP,” we will send you a message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive text messages from us, unless you opt in again.

7. Carrier Liability
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Participating carriers include, but are not limited to, major Canadian and U.S. wireless carriers.

This SMS program is intended for individuals located in Canada who are of legal age to purchase lottery tickets in Alberta (18 years or older). By opting in, you represent that you meet this requirement.
9. Privacy
Your use of this SMS program is also subject to the Privacy Policy set out above on this page, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, including your text messaging opt-in data.
10. Changes to These Terms
